Legend of the Five Rings: Judgement

You are most cordially invited...
An invitation arrives.

Through various means: family connections, favors granted by sensei, or just happening to be in the right place at the right time, you have all secured invitations to the palatial estates of Seppun Ayamu for a gala celebration of the Bon Festival. Traditionally celebrated as close to home as possible, your family has arranged for the proper rituals and freed you of your obligations in order to attend this prestigious event.

The estates are located in southern Crane territory, overlooking the sea. The natural breezes will be a welcome relief from the oppressive heat of summer, and it is well known that Seppun Ayamu’s wife Doji Katsunoko hosts some of the most fantastic events outside of Kyuden Doji and the Imperial Palaces. However, despite their splendor and beauty, the estates are isolated – located at the far southern end of Crane territories, about 2 weeks journey (by foot) south of Mura Sabishii Toshi.

Your mentors/sensei/family have suggested that you rest on your journey at the estate of their good friend Doji Haruki, governor of a small province in the Crane territories, near the Crab border. There you will be able to refresh yourself before making the last leg of the journey to Seppun Ayamu’s estate.

It is now just over a week until the Bon Festival, and you have arrived at The Palace of Doji Haruki and its supporting village, Tochi.
